Sterling International School (SIS) is a registered corporate entity, with strong bias towards Mathematics, Critical Thinking/Creativity, Science, Entrepreneurship and Leadership. The school is run by a seven (7) member Board of Governors, chaired by Dr. Kwadwo Gyamfi. The day to day administration is run by a Principal. The Board of Directors are responsible for the broad policies of the school.

The Principal, Mr. Alfred Codjoe-Allotey, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the affairs of the school, under the broad policy guidelines of the Board. The Principal has overall responsibility for the appointment and termination of non-management staff; evaluating and promoting staff; admission of new students; setting educational goals for the school and implementing its academic and extra-curricular programmes; conducting external examinations, monitoring and supervising the budget; the physical development of the school; nurturing relationships with parents; and the general administration of the school.
